Huperzia (Phlegmariurus) squarrosa “new guinea”
Known as firmosses or fir clubmosses, these ancient fern-allies were once native to Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia but are now nationally extinct.
Plant Care Instructions
Light: Grows slowly. Semi to full shade. Provide good air circulation.
Water: Water thoroughly at the roots when potting medium is dry.
Fertiliser: Use balanced or higher N fertiliser for leafy plants. Use a higher Phosphorus content fertiliser for flowering plants.
Potting: No soil. Use medium potting mix, eg. orchid or pine bark, or sphagnum moss-compost mix.
