Aechmea fasciata

Aechmea fasciata is a bromeliad that makes for an attractive houseplant or tropical floral display.

Aechmea are hardy and easy to grow and maintain.

Plant Care Instructions Light:

Place in a spot with indirect sunlight.

Water thoroughly at the roots when potting medium is dry.

Apply bacterial insecticide monthly.

Use balanced or higher N fertiliser for leafy plants.

Use a higher Phosphorus content fertiliser for flowering plants.

When repotting, use sandy coarse soil or mount onto branches with coarse compost.
