Ascocenda Fuch Sunset x Vascostylis Pine River hybrid

This orchid is a hybrid between Ascocenda Fuch sunset x Vascostylis pine river. Originally from Thailand, the Ascocenda hybrid has been acclimatised to Singapore’s climate and produces 1 to 2 sprays of sweet pink blooms multiple times a year. A vertical grower, the plant is seen to bloom at ~ 30cm in height onwards.

Best grown in hanging baskets, this strap-leaf Vandaceous orchid is well suited to balconies, verandas and shaded gardens.

Light requirement: 6 hours of 50 – 70% sun.
