Place cut stems in clean water as soon as possible, and keep the bouquet away from direct afternoon sun, heat, fruit, and strong air-conditioner airflow. For vase bouquets, replace the water with clean lukewarm water and trim about 0.5 cm from the stems at a diagonal angle every 2 to 3 days.
