Care

Tillandsia flexuosa requires bright, indirect light (especially in summer). In the winter, keep the plant next to a window, and in the summer, keep it outside in partial shade. The needed temperature is between 10 and 32 degrees Celsius. If you’re growing it outside, get it early enough in the fall so it doesn’t have to deal with night temperatures below 6 degrees Celsius, especially if it’s moist. The plants can withstand temperatures as low as 0 ° C for a few hours if they are shaded and dry. The humidity level must be moderate to high for this air plant to thrive. Aeration is essential, and the plant must dry quickly (in less than an hour).
