Dendrobium Tan Keng Lan

The Dendrobium Tan Keng Lan is a live Dendrobium orchid plant with blue to purple tones. Dendrobium orchids are well suited for Singapore conditions because they enjoy warm weather, strong filtered light, and good airflow. This orchid is suitable for orchid lovers, balcony gardens, bright patios, sheltered corridors, and simple plant gifts.

This orchid is appreciated for flowers that can last well when the plant receives the right light and watering routine. Its upright stems and colourful blooms add a tropical accent without needing a large display space. Place it where the leaves receive bright semi-shade, and allow the roots to breathe between watering.

A Dendrobium hybrid with unique variegation on the edge of the flower petals and leaf blades. The flowers exude a neon green colour with a purple meshed lip with streaks of purple radiating from the centre towards the petals and sepals.

The plant is supplied as a live orchid in a growing pot. Bloom count, spike height, and flower opening may vary naturally because each orchid plant grows at its own pace. Orchid Care

Grow your Dendrobium orchid in bright filtered light or semi-shade. Around 50% to 75% sunlight is suitable when the plant is protected from harsh afternoon sun. Water at the roots only after the growing media has dried, then let excess water drain away. Do not allow the roots to sit in water, as constantly wet media can cause root problems.

• Growing Media: Repot when needed with airy orchid growing media, such as coarse charcoal or other fast-draining orchid potting medium.
