The aromatic Vanilla comes from a species of orchid called the Vanilla planifolia. Native to Mexico and Central America, this orchid plant is widely cultivated for its fleshy seed pods that contain high vanillin and is used in making vanilla flavouring.
Our Vanilla beans are sourced from quality plantations around the region. All Vanilla seed pods are cured and ready for use.

Vanilla Tahitensis is a hybrid of Vanilla planifolia orchid. Tahitensis beans have milder vanilla with ‘fruity, floral and sweet’ flavours and are frequently used in perfumes or pastry. (Now Available!)
