The Lunar Chinese New Year also known as the spring festival is the most prominent traditional festive event in Chinese culture. Chinese New Year starts with the beginning of the first lunar month. The festival season can last for well over a month in mainland China and in Singapore, the festive mood usually last for more than 2 weeks. During the Chinese New Year, families get a great chance to get together and spend some great time and that is why everyone is eagerly waiting for this season. During the celebrations, people take part in variety of events such as reunion dinners, offering lucky money (for kids) and house visits.
During this time of the year, many of the special and seasonal orchids flower during to the cool drop in temperature in the northern hemisphere, almost as if to welcome this festive season. This coming Chinese New Year, we’ve prepared a wide range of orchids for your selection. Cattleya orchids have extremely beautiful large and bright flowers! Each plant is priced at $35 per plant. Each plant will have at least 1 – 2 large blooming flowers.
